Live from RSA 2018 | Day 2 | Getting it done!

We just concluded our second day of booth operations at RSA 2018, and all I can say is “wow.” Throughout the day we had non-stop action and all presentations were standing room only! Thank you to all who visited us and spent time with the SentinelOne team.

After doing numerous presentations, and fielding questions from the audience, these are a few recurring themes I noticed throughout the day:

  1. Fileless attacks – For really good reasons, many of the attendees are concerned about fileless attacks.  As we can all most likely agree, this attack vector continues to be much more prevalent and relevant.  Reason being is that the bad actors know that the endpoint vendors have all improved their capabilities around file-based malware.  So the easiest way to circumvent these technologies is to NOT have your malicious code touch the disk. Luckily, there is no other vendor better suited than SentinelOne to be able to prevent and detect this attack method.  Behavioral-AI at runtime is paramount!
  2. Ransomware – Ransomware continues to be a risk and nuisance across organizations.  Unfortunately, this trend does not seem to be slowing down anytime in the near future.  Yet again, I am confident that SentinelOne has the best approach in the industry around this type of threat.  Static-AI coupled with Behavioral-AI gives us the luxury to rely on two fully autonomous artificial intelligence based analysis engines to apply the right technology at the right time during the threat lifecycle.  Additionally, in the event of a ransomware attack being able to make its way through these technologies, our Rollback feature provides a safety-net to get back to normal operations within 90 seconds. Lastly, not only do we claim to do these things, but also we back these claims with our industry exclusive Ransomware Warranty.  What could be better? An autonomous defense-in-depth approach that is backed financially…
  3. Integration & Automation – Customers are tired of buying just “products” that operate within their own silo.  They want solutions that enrich their entire security ecosystem. SentinelOne was built with this in mind.  We offer complete and robust APIs with over 250 capabilities, cleanly documented and readily accessible within each console.  Furthermore, we have developed several strategic integration alliances across the industry that serve as excellent examples of our API and integration capabilities.

I couldn’t be more thrilled with how our solution is addressing the needs of today’s attack surfaces.  SentinelOne, Getting it Done!!!

Here is a picture of our team at the start of the day.  If you are here at RSA and have yet to visit our booth, please come by booth #935 Moscone South.  We would love to have the opportunity to show you how autonomous endpoint protection can help save you time, and why we are the top-rated endpoint solution in the industry.

Now off to our after party at SPiN! Looking forward to what tomorrow has in store.
