SentinelOne VS CVE-2020-0601

The 14th of January was a busy and concerning day for a lot of the world as Microsoft’s latest vulnerability as CVE-2020-0601 has created quite the stir in the industry based on the criticality of the vulnerability. To help bring some calm in this storm, we at SentinelOne would like to provide you, our customer, comfort in our capabilities.

Do you have to install the Microsoft security update for this vulnerability? Yes

First, as a security vendor and trusted advisor we recommend that you install the Microsoft security update at the earliest. This is the responsible thing to do. SentinelOne detects and prevents all known samples related to this CVE that we have been able to find to date, but proper patch management should always be applied.
