RansomEXX is a malware family targeting Linux and Windows that’s been observed in the wild since late 2020. By hardcoding specific victim details into malware samples, adversaries leave a ‘personal touch’ on their attacks, such as those suffered by the Texas Department of Transportation, Grupe Atlantic, and several other large enterprises.
