LeaderOne | Where Connection Fuels Growth

As I looked across the room at our leaders gathered for the final LeaderOne Summit in Bengaluru earlier this month, I was struck by something simple and powerful: the energy of connection. Faces and voices from every corner of India and the APJ region filled the space, blending conversation, laughter, and genuine curiosity about one another.

It was the third and final stop on a journey that had taken us across the globe this summer and fall, from San Francisco, to Prague, and finally to Bangalore. Three continents, over 250 leaders, and one shared purpose: to learn, grow, and lead SentinelOne into what comes next, together.

Building Connection in a Changing World

LeaderOne was created to bring people leaders together to share knowledge and connect in a time of extraordinary change. The pace of transformation today is unlike anything we have seen before. Artificial intelligence is reshaping how we work, how we think, and how we drive progress across the industry.

But even as technology accelerates, it’s the people behind it — the thinkers, dreamers, and doers — who give intelligence its purpose and power. They are the ones who translate possibility into progress, and vision into impact.

At SentinelOne, we are proud of the culture we’ve built, one that empowers people to keep learning and growing, because their growth fuels ours. Leadership is not something we inherit; it is something we practice, refine, and live every day. And it deeply matters.

LeaderOne was designed and brought to life by Taryn Andreas, AVP of Learning and Development, with support from her global team, a program built to strengthen connection, capability, and confidence at every level of leadership. Across every region that hosted the summit, I saw the same spirit of curiosity, sincerity, and a genuine desire to grow.

“LeaderOne gave our leaders the space to step out of the day-to-day and connect — with themselves, with each other, and with the company’s vision,” said Taryn. “It was inspiring to see how the in-person experience strengthened not just individual capability, but also our collective leadership culture.”

As Katie Southern, VP, People EMEA, APJ & Global Connected Experiences, reminded us, “People don’t typically leave companies. They leave their managers. LeaderOne is here to make sure all our Sentinels have a consistent experience with interactions that build trust, connection, and care.”

Lessons That Travel Farther Than Miles

Reflections, guidance, and practical tips shaped each event. The main themes were familiar, rooted in our Leadership Principles, but some of the most powerful moments came from the less expected aspects of leadership.

SentinelOne CEO Tomer WeingartenOur CEO Tomer Weingarten spoke about humility — not as modesty but as strength. “Pragmatism and humility have been really helpful to me throughout my career,”  said Tomer. “When I look at the most successful leaders, I see the same pattern. It’s the people who care automatically. They walk the extra mile, not because someone told them to, but because they know it matters.”

That idea, that great leadership begins with care, stayed with me. It is a principle that feels universal across our company: when we care about our work, our customers, and our teams, we lead from a place of purpose. And it’s that same care that gives meaning to every transformation we’re part of, including the one powered by AI. Because no matter how fast technology moves, it’s people who give it direction, heart, and purpose.

Lital Leichtag-Fuks, VP and Deputy General Counsel, brought creativity to center stage with a presentation built around a simple question: WWTD — What Would Taylor Do? Drawing parallels between leadership and the milestones, actions, and attributes of the iconic pop star, Lital explored how courage, reinvention, and authenticity drive lasting impact. Her creative approach delighted the leaders in the room and reminded us that inspiration often comes from the most unexpected places.

James Hanlon, AVP of Emerging Product SaleJames Hanlon, AVP of Emerging Product Sales, gave that idea a practical shape when he shared his habit of asking for feedback — not just from his managers, but from his teams and peers across the organization. “At the end of every project, I ask: how did I do? What can I do better next time?” James said. It was a simple yet powerful reminder that growth and self-reflection always go hand in hand.

Our Chief Growth Officer, Barry Padgett, carried that theme forward with his own perspective on leadership. “At this company, we move at Mach 2 with our hair on fire,” Barry said with a smile. “But try to practice compassion, both as a leader and as a human. What you leave behind is important.”

The idea of legacy in leadership is powerful. Barry also drew a parallel between great leadership and sport: “If you want to get better, you have to practice.” To me, that perfectly captured the spirit of LeaderOne, a reminder that leadership is not a destination, but a discipline, strengthened every day by the people who live it.

Navigating the Age of AI

LeaderOne Summit SeriesThroughout each event, roundtables gave participants space to speak openly about what it means to lead the SentinelOne way. Some of the ideas that stayed with me came from Ely Kahn, Chief Product Officer, who reminded us that there is no place for ego in teamwork; from Diwakar Dayal, AVP of Sales, who believes that leadership is not about authority but about trust; and from Eran Ashkenazi, Chief Business Officer, who emphasized that it’s always OK to make mistakes, and that great leaders go the extra mile to create environments where others feel free to do the same.

Mistakes and obstacles were discussed openly, because that’s where growth begins. But no topic sparked more curiosity or conversation than the rise of AI. Gregor Stewart, our Chief AI Officer, led thoughtful fireside chats, inviting questions, sharing insights, and urging us all to approach this shift with curiosity and purpose rather than fear.

Gregor Stewart, our Chief AI Officer,“The leaders who learn to collaborate with AI will be the ones who lead more humanely,” he said. It is a simple idea, yet an essential one. The more technology advances, the more important it becomes for us to stay human, to think creatively, act ethically, and guide with empathy. I believe it is that balance between innovation and compassion, curiosity and care, that will define the next chapter of SentinelOne’s growth.

The LeaderOne Summit series gave us the space to practice that balance — across borders, time zones, and perspectives — reminding us that at the heart of our culture lie honesty, humility, and shared growth. Leadership here isn’t a destination or a title; it’s a practice, the constant work of turning care into impact and potential into progress.
