The video showcases how SentinelOne’s advanced cybersecurity technology prevents the PingPull_Linux_RAT, a remote access trojan used in multiple sophisticated attacks since early 2022. The Linux variant of Ping Pull supports multiple command-line parameters, allowing the attacker complete control over the device. Persistence is achieved by dropping a copy of the RAT’s payload into the system, which is symlinked as a service. SentinelOne’s technology is designed to detect and prevent such advanced threats, using a combination of behavioral AI and machine learning algorithms. The video provides an overview of how our technology can stop PingPull_RAT and protect organizations from the risks posed by cyber-espionage campaigns.
