In this video, we demonstrate how the SentinelOne Singularity XDR Platform provides protection against Cerber ransomware. Cerber is a semi-private Ransomware-as-a-Service (RaaS) that was first observed in 2016. Its operations peaked between 2016 and 2017, followed by long periods of inactivity. From 2020 onwards, there have been sporadic Cerber/C3RB3R campaigns, with contemporary payloads supporting both Linux and Windows operating systems. In late 2023, Cerber resurfaced in new campaigns targeting exposed Atlassian Confluence Datacenter and Server products (ala CVE-2023-22518).
The SentinelOne Singularity XDR Platform will protect your systems from such destructive attacks by the Cerber ransomware.
